My little one is growing from baby to toddler, so we have just finished decorating her big-girl room. It’s her favorite place to play in. We are still in diapers, but our diaper table is transitioning into a toy shelf for all her stuffies. A few small DIY projects here too. I spray-painted an old magazine rack I picked up at a local thrift shop. I love how the color turned out. I also replaced the drawer pulls on the Ikea dresser with ones I found at Anthropologie for a steal. My very own Ikea-hack. I’d like to add some curtains at some point, but for now it’s a perfect haven for my little girl.
Our little family stayed down in Scottsdale last week for a short stay-cation to celebrate our anniversary and to do a little traveling with my work. We stayed at the Hotel Valley Ho, which is a mid-century inspired hotel in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale. It reminds me a bit of the Ace Hotel married with the Parker Palm Springs. It certainly has a rich Hollywood history; Natalie Wood and Robert Wagner got married in the hotel’s ballroom. We were lucky enough to stay in one of the hotel suites, so we celebrated with champagne and watching the sunset from our balcony.
Keeping it bright and cheery. I love that rose piñata in the second pin. See more of my pins here. Have a good weekend!
