One of the greatest perks of living in the West is the year-round mild weather. And Miss Em loves to play outside!
Just a few things I picked up for Miss Em and myself. Loving the bright spring colors.
How do you keep a toddler sitting long enough for a picture? This is me trying to have a mini photo shoot with my iPhone. Miss Em was way too interested in getting her cute little hands on my phone to sit still!
We went to Palm Springs this weekend. Here are a few photos of our morning walk on Sunday.
I thought I’d end the week with a Friday round up of my pins on Pinterest. You can check out more of my pins right here. Hope you have an inspiring weekend!
The central highlands can have strange weather. It will be pouring and windy one minute and bright and sunny the next. We had a big storm pass through yesterday, leaving a trace of snow. It only accumulated for a few minutes. In about an hour, all of this was gone.
I recently did a sample house tour of my home in the hopes of writing for Apartment Therapy. The biggest challenge was keeping the house clean enough to do the shoot. With a toddler running around, I feel like the house is in constant disarray. I kept moving the mess around the house to keep it out of the shot!
We went up to Montezuma’s Castle yesterday morning for President’s Day. It is a national park in the remote central highlands of Arizona, where you can see the ancient cliff dwellings of the Sinagua tribe. It’s a beautiful spot, nestled in the canyons, with a stream near by (a rarity in the desert!). It’s almost spring in central Arizona, and Emilie loved the chance to run around outside.
Hope you’re having a relaxing holiday weekend!
Bits & bobs of my morning.
